Le Bonheur breaks ground in Jackson


Seizing shovels with red heart-shaped blades, four children and Le Bonheur CEO Meri Armour ceremoniously started the construction process Tuesday morning for the new Le Bonheur Children’s Outpatient Center at 1531 Vann Drive.

Le Bonheur hopes that about a year from now, a completed facility will stand on that ground just in front of Gander Mountain in north Jackson.

Local officials and dozens of people affiliated with Le Bonheur or the construction process gathered under a tent Tuesday morning to celebrate the project.
