Gary Taylor Investment Company Attracts Three New Fitness Centers

Jackson, Tenn. January 22, 2013 — Much of the recent growth in Jackson has been fueled by the expansion of the medical community and the city’s colleges and universities. As a city that has an increasing focus on health and fitness, Jackson is attracting businesses that sustain these rising population groups. Gary A. Taylor Investment Company (GAT) has recently assisted 9Round and ATC Fitness in establishing Jackson locations.

“The Jackson trade area includes more than a half million people with $6.7 billion retail spending every year,” said Gary A. Taylor, CEO. “The city provides a great environment for commercial success and development.”

9Round recently opened in Park Place, a GAT development located on I-40 Exit 85. 9Round is a specialized fitness center that brings boxing and kickboxing fitness training to the average person in a convenient, affordable, 30-minute, full body circuit format.

ATC Fitness is scheduled to open two locations this summer. One will be in Park Place and the other will be in Thomsen Farms, near Union University and the U.S. Hwy 45 By-Pass. ATC Fitness is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Membership is $15 dollars a month and requires no commitment.

Gary A. Taylor Investment Company has developed more than 2,500,000 square feet of retail and commercial space in Jackson including Jackson Towne Centre, West Town Commons, The Columns and Vann Drive.

Current GAT developments underway in Jackson are Park Place East and West, and Sandstone Village. These developments are all located on I-40 near a 17-field Sportsplex and the Seattle Mariners minor league baseball stadium for the Jackson Generals.

Other active GAT developments include Casey Commons adjacent to the Casey Jones Village; the Shadow Creek Medical Park; and Smith Farms, a 60-acre retail, all located in North Jackson. GAT is also developing University Commons in Martin, TN near the University of Tennessee at Martin.
