Developers’ plans are signs of a bright future

It seems the Great Recession is giving way to Great Plans here in Jackson. Developers have plans for North Jackson that include a new grocery store, office complexes, eateries and even a movie theater.
New business construction plans are a sign Jackson may finally be breaking free of the economic downturn. Builders and developers say some projects are evidence of pent-up demand from businesses that held back on investments while the economy was shaky, and financial times were challenging.
And though many of us still feel financially challenged by these times, we can look around and see signs of change, real change, and shades of a brighter future.
