Best Western Plus to Build at Park Place

Best Western Plus is poised to become the first hotel to locate in Park Place West and the second in the area (Holiday Inn Express is located in Park Place East, near the West Tennessee Healthcare Sportsplex).
Bruce Patel, Fusion Hospitality in Tupelo, Mississippi, has purchased two acres from Gary A. Taylor Investment Co., and will build the hotel next to Affordable Dentures and will face Interstate 40.
The hotel is expected to have about 100 rooms, and construction is expected to start by the first of 2017.
“We are excited to announce a Best Western Plus hotel in the Park Place Development,” Gary A. Taylor said. “Over 300,000 people visited the park last year. This product will meet the needs of the current market with a mid-range price point for travels, businessmen and women and travel baseball (and) softball teams. Mr Patel is a seasoned hotel owner and is planning a new concept that Jackson will enjoy.”
